Joe Carr's website CAMERONIANS - BUXTEHUDE 1954-1956
Cameronians.org website- Unfortunately the Forum at the
site has been taken offline. I do not know if it, or its historic contents will ever see
the light of day again. No notice had been given about this and unfortunately there were
lots of valuable contributions now lost forever, and there seems no chance that they can
recovered.

Ballater Queen's Guard list from
1898
In May 2021
, Alistair Cassie, Chair of Ballater Local History Group, kindly provided a copy of a list of Regiments who comprised the guard from 1898. This fascinating list was hand-written down the ages and the last known recorder was the barrack caretaker, Frank Collins who has now sadly passed away. Frank was a POW of the Japanese during WW2 and occupied the tied house at the Barrack entrance. The list is contained in a PDF file
