I think that's me – Second row, second last from the right (just behind the boys sitting). 

1956

I am the fourth girl from the left in the second row.  My name was Morag Macdermid and I lived in Monkcastle Drive. I had a friend whose name was Margaret Stewart, I think she might possibly be the last girl at the end of the second row.Its been a very long time and I dont know any other names from that era. Perhaps others might be able to help in that regard after seeing the photo.I left Bushyhill in August 1957 when my family immigrated to Australia.

A mixture of Gateside and Busheyhill

I think it is Bushyhill School in about 1932. My father, John Farquhar would have been 12 in 1932. He is fourth from the right on the top row. He also went to Gateside, but I think this is Bushyhill because of the wall in the background.

This was taken in 1955 or 1956. My family went to the USA in September of 1956 after my first month at Rutherglen Academy. As I look at it, the faces look so familiar, but most of the names elude me 57 years later.
