Class 3B? 1948 Donated by David Turbitt Oct 08 Not sure of many names, back row I am second from left, David Turbitt, then Hugh? Barry, 6th L Hugh Laidlaw, 7th L Douglas Pollock. Second row, 5th L Jim Don, third row Teacher Mr Dick, front row 1st L Bobby Davie, 3rd L David Donaldson, 6th L John Duncan	1957 class 3f2 Donated by Duncan MacDermid Nov 09		1929 Tommy Carmichael is in the second back row, 4th boy from the right.(Eldest of my cousins on my mother's side) He lived in Hawthorn Walk, till he died in 1997. On the extreme right (standing) is Mr Chambers who was the father of Mr John Chambers, teacher in Gateside late 40s-early 50s then became headmaster at Cathkin Primary. in front is a young Miss McNaught, English teacher. Extreme left is Mr Aitken, who was Headmaster in the late 40s-early 50s. 1957 Has Tommy's son in it. (7th from left middle row,) - Tom Carmichael who died a few years ago. I don't know any one else in the photo except George Kennedy who is standing behind Tom. Maybe someone will recognise themselves. Donated by Margaret McKinnon October 2009

He is the 7th in the back row. I do remember "Killer" Mr McFarlane He was the science teacher. I liked him despite his nickname. Does anyone remember themselves in this photo. Some names here Attached is a photo of myself and my class mates from Gateside school taken in 1957. I have also added what names I can remember, and perhaps others who look at it will remember and add names that are not listed. My name is Ian Stevenson, and I am 3rd from the left in the middle row. If anyone has any information on those in the photo I would very much like to know, so get in touch please.
