October snow on Aonach Mòr

Lochaber contains two main areas of long-lasting snow, the steep northern face of Ben Nevis (Observatory, Point Five and Zero gullies) and the eastern corries (Coire an Lochain and An Cùl Choire) of Aonach Mòr. I have yet to visit Ben Nevis, but I have visited the site of a snowpatch in An Cùl Choire (click on the area name to get my archive of photos of that area):
