Sid Mcewan was the science teacher in the 1950s. He also led the choir which sang in the church. I am keen to know more about his history and to talk to anyone who knew him. The reason I asked is that I was a member of the choir and as part of the group, had a wondeful summer holiday in Acharacle in the mid 1950's. There we took rolls of colour cine film of each other and I often wondered what happended to that film. Sid's real name was Thomas Joseph McEwan and he emigrated to 66 Roxborough St East, Toronto. He's now presumed dead, and I wonder if that film survived and is now in the hands of his estate.
