The back garden of 148 main street. The Ritz picture hall is just to the left, the bottom of the building was Dr. Hutchinsons surgery. The receptionist was Grace Anderson. She worked for the doctors all her life. Every body in Cambuslang knew her. The building is gone now, it was replaced by Woolworths and the Ritz bar. I was born in that house: it had a lot of good memories for me. My mother missed the daily life of the Main street. The man shown is thought to be Hugh Martin who lived across the road from the old police station.
